Gamboa Festival

Place: Santiago Island
On the 19th May it is the day of the city of Praia at Santiago Island and we have the "Gamboa Festival" with national and international artists. Usually there are 2 or 3 days of Shows.
Tabanka

Place: Santiagi Island
At Santiago Island during June it is possible to see the "Tabanka". People go to the streets with traditional instruments and play traditional rhythms.
Festival Baia das Gatas

Place: São Vicente Island
The "Baia das Gatas Festival" is on the full moon of August with national and international artists.
Santa Maria Festival

Place: Sal Island
Celebration of the "Santa Maria Festival" on the 15th September with various national and international artists.
Batuko & Funana Festival
29/09/2010
Place: Santiago Island
On the 29th September at "Calheta de São Miguel" we have the Festival of Batuko and Funaná (typical dance/music from Cape Verde).
