With many festivals and celebrations all year round, there is always something exciting for you to check our during your stay. Below we list any suggested upcoming events.
At Tarrafal on January 15th they celebrate the day of the district with music, dances and with national artists.
On the 2nd February the Nhô Febrero is celebrated throughout the district of São Domingos.
This activity is an initiative of “Associação Mindelact”. It has taken place every year in Mindelo since 1999, in March. The purpose is to honor individuals, groups, companies and institutions who deserve recognition for their support and contribution to the development of the performing arts.
After launching the first edition in 2009 and the success of 2010 and 2011 editions, Kriol Jazz Festival - Praia will make the streets of the Cape Verdean capital resonate again from April 12th to the 14th 2012.
