You will be picked-up at your Hotel, at 5 am, in case you want to climb both Pico Grande and Pico Pequeno.

Cha Das Caldeiras - The Volcano Tour
The island of Fogo boasts some of the best natural attractions in Cape Verde. During this excursion you will visit the Fogo Natural Park, with some of the most impressive volcanic landscapes in the world.
The tour includes the following highlights:
- Forno - A visit to one of the areas where the drop-by-drop irrigation method is used, a technique adopted by farmers on the island in order to minimise the effects of drought.
- Achada Furna - A chance to get to know the community where new homes were built for the population of Chã das Caldeiras after the 1995 eruption.
- Trekking to Pico Grande and Pico Pequeno - Hike to the crater formed during the 1995 eruption. You can still find extremely hot spots, away from the sulphur. A multi-coloured landscape is also worth a visit (optional).
- Lunch is included. There is also the chance to purchase and sample local Fogo coffee and cheese.
- A visit to the Museum and the Wine Cooperative.
