Exploring Santiago Island

This 1 day tour to Santiago Island is definitely worth the trip! - Depart from Praia
- São Domingos - stop to visit the aircraft centre where you'll find souvenirs made by local artisans
- São Jorge - visit the botanic garden which has many endemic species of plants. Some of them are near extinction
- Picos's cross - with a magnificent view through the valley of Fonte Lima, and from there it is possible to see Assomada City
- Assomada City - visit Tabanka's museum and the municipal market
- Tarrafal - visit "campo de concentração" which is an old prison made by the Portuguese, during colonial times. You will also enjoy a dip at a sea bath on the most popular beach of the island
- Return by the coast passing through Santa Cruz (banana plantation area)
- Pedra Badejo - visit its old port
- Return to Praia.
